All workers will complete Privacy & Confidentiality Agreement to ensure the confidentiality requirements are understood and adhered to.

3.5.3. Management team responsibilities

All inquiries or complaints about privacy and confidentiality should be directed to the Managing Director and Complaint Report Form to be completed.

In case Access Care Centre identifies that there is a breach of information or unauthorised access to the information of participants, will take measures to reduce the chance of harm to people. In these cases, the Australian Information Commissioner might be involved.

It is the participant’s right to choose if they want to be involved in an NDIS audit.

Each participant understands and agrees to what personal information will be collected and why, including recorded material in audio and/or visual format through Participant Handbook, Participant Intake, and Initial Assessment and Support Plan.

The documents will be handled in a way that:
